Precision Textiles Receives Honors

Achievement highlights the company’s exceptional value in providing high-quality fire-retardant components

Precision Textiles, a trailblazer in textile innovation and a leading supplier to the bedding, home furnishings, healthcare and automotive industries has been recognized as the winner in the Best Components Supplier category in Furniture Today’s 2024 Reader Ranking Awards. The recognition highlights the company’s exceptional value in providing high-quality fire-retardant (FR) components and its specialization in designing innovative, FR solutions for the bedding industry. In the spirit of the season, Precision Textiles will turn this honor into an opportunity to give back by planting 2500 pine trees across the state of North Carolina, focusing on areas that were devastated by Hurricane Helene.

Furniture Today’s Reader Rankings program invites industry professionals to recognize companies for their excellence and innovation in various categories. These awards celebrate the best of the best in the industry, with nominations and winners determined by the publication’s readers.

“We are honored to be named the Best Bedding Component Supplier in Furniture Today’s Reader Ranking Awards,” says Scott Tesser, CEO of Precision Textiles. “This recognition reflects our commitment to providing innovative, fire-retardant solutions tailored specifically to the bedding industry. Our products, including laminated materials and customized turnkey solutions for mattress manufacturers, prioritize consumer safety, sustainability, and quality—values that have positioned us as a leader in the field. However, we believe that true success comes with responsibility, which is why we are using this moment to make a meaningful difference for our planet and our communities.”

According to Tesser, the tree donation, made in partnership with the Arbor Day Foundaion, will focus on areas severely affected by Hurricane Helene, a storm that caused death and widespread destruction in September 2024. By planting thousands of longleaf pine trees, the company aims to aid in the regions recovery by reforesting damaged land, improving soil health and creating long-term environmental benefits. “This initiative is about more than just giving back. It’s about turning a proud achievement into something that contributes to a sustainable and resilient future—both for the people affected by the hurricane and for our planet.”

The longleaf pine ecosystem restoration project aligns with Precision Textiles’ broader mission of preserving the planet to lead the bedding industry in sustainability, environmental responsibility  and positive change. The company has long been committed to developing innovative solutions that not only meet the highest standards of safety and quality but also contribute to a healthier planet.

By combining industry excellence with environmental stewardship, Precision Textiles hopes to inspire other organizations to take meaningful action in their communities, especially during times of need and during this season of giving.
